Crafting Safe Corners
Is our Practice
It is pace
A safe Corner
- as experienced in nature
Imagine a clearing in a forest.
Not dramatic.
Not sacred in a ceremonial way.
Just a place where the ground happens to be open.
No one tells the moss how to grow here.
No one asks the trees to prove they belong.
The earth does not interrogate the fallen branch.
It receives it.
This is Ahimsa.
Not kindness.
Not goodness.
Not restraint.
Simply Non-interference with life.
Notice how nature never approaches you.
The forest does not rush toward your nervous system.
It waits.
The air doesn’t ask you to breathe better.
It simply stays available.
The ground does not pull you down.
It simply invite weight.
This is how safety is offered.
Ahimsa is the deer that freezes—not to disappear,
but to listen.
It is the way snow covers sharp edges
without trying to change their shape.
It is how water finds the lowest place
without arguing with gravity.
No force.
No correction.
No moral effort.
Only alignment with what is already happening.
In the body, Ahimsa may feel like this:
Nothing is summoned.
Nothing is pushed away.
Sensations are allowed to arrive
at their own walking speed.
And
If something tightens,
it tightens without being judged.
If nothing happens,
nothing happens without disappointment.
Our body is not a problem to solve.
It is a landscape to be weathered.
Relational Ahimsa can feel like two animals
sharing a water source.
No eye contact demanded.
No hierarchy assumed.
Just parallel presence.
You drink+
I drink
= we Drink together.
Love is simple like that.
Neither of us takes more than we need
because the water is not scarce.
And when something wounded appears—
a memory, a tremor, a part—
Ahimsa does not say come closer
and it does not say go away.
It says:
You may stay exactly where you are.
I will not follow you.
I will not leave.
I will Just stay.
This is how Our nervous system learns trust.
Ahimsa is not stillness.
It is pace.
It is the way dusk arrives
without an announcement.
It is the long pause
before night settles.
It is the intelligence of slowing down
until nothing feels chased.
